1. What We DO NOT Collect

We respect your privacy. The Script Mode for Gemini extension operates entirely on your local machine. We explicitly DO NOT collect, store, or transmit:

  • Your AI prompts or conversations.
  • Your browsing history.
  • The contents of any webpage you visit.
  • Any personally identifiable information (for Free users).

2. What We DO Collect

If you purchase a paid subscription, we collect the minimum data necessary to verify your license:

  • Email Address: Provided during the payment process.
  • Device Fingerprint (UUID): An anonymous, locally generated unique identifier to enforce device limits and prevent account sharing.
  • Usage Counters: We locally store daily and weekly prompt counts to enforce free tier limits. This data is not sent to our servers.
  • Subscription Status: Fetched from our authentication provider (WorkOS) to unlock Pro features.

3. Chrome Permissions Explained

The extension requires the following permissions to function. Here is exactly why they are needed:

  • activeTab & scripting: Required to inject the floating panel UI and automation scripts into the gemini.google.com tab. We only run scripts on the Gemini domain.
  • storage: Used to save your popup settings (like Auto-Scroll preferences) and your queued prompts locally on your device.

4. Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely via our Merchant of Record (LemonSqueezy). We do not collect, process, or store your credit card information or billing address. Please review LemonSqueezy's privacy policy for details on how they handle your payment data.
